Denso IT Laboratory Inc. is a company specialized for research & development which was established in 2000 to conduct research on the future of mobility. Our mission is not to be preoccupied by research projects at hand, but to discover and cultivate the seeds of interesting technologies by looking 10 or 20 years ahead, and to deliver unprecedented products into the society. Denso IT Laboratory conducts “thinking out of the box” R&D in cooperation with Denso and other automobile manufacturers from Japan and abroad to realize people’s wishes. Our R&D engineers are a group of the selected few with a variety of backgrounds, of which half of the members are from other fields than the automobile industry. Engineers and doctors who have worked for laboratories in different types of businesses are actively involved. Application Guidelines: [Position] Research & Development Engineer [Job Description] From basic to applied research. Organizing projects along the theme to conduct research of your choice. -Research on next generation Intelligent Transfer Systems (car navigation etc.), design and development of system / middleware. -Development & research on software related to image and signal processing e.g. image recognition system and image processing algorism to be mounted on cars in the next 10+ years. [Qualifications] No previous experience in the automobile industry required. Must be experienced in programming with C, C++, Java etc. Must possess thorough knowledge and skills in one of the following areas: Understanding on human recognition / human behavior, cognitive psychology / cognitive science, artificial intelligence / knowledge engineering, learning / deduction, statistical processing, information recommendation / individualization, usability, user interface, agent, network, security, web, telematics, map application, biological information processing, data mining, clustering, complex system, emotion estimation, voice interaction, ubiquitous, multivariate analysis, large-scale numerical computation, visualization technology, image processing, optimization, biological information processing, robotics, particle filtering, etc. [Work Location] Shibuya ward, Tokyo (5 min. walk from Shibuya station) [Working Hours] Flextime system (standard labor time: 8 hours) *No fixed core-time [Salary] Annual salary of at least 4 million yen *Determined individually according to experience / skills by negotiation [Compensation Package] Salary revision twice a year.
